Job Description:
Work closely with our Electrical Engineering and Automation Team in designing control systems for food production equipment including robot work cells, conveyors, and automated process machines. This is a perfect job for an Electrical Controls Designer who wants to be part of a growing Automation team. Must be knowledgeable in panel design with strong Solidworks & AutoCAD skills. Our custom machines are designed, built and tested at our facility in beautiful Newburyport MA.

Responsibilities / Duties
- Electrical control system design, component specification and documentation for automation food & beverage and bio-pharmaceutical production facilities.
- Development of Bill of materials, Electrical Drawings and design documents.
- Programming to include controllers, operator interfaces, VFD’s and servo motion.
- Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) support.\
- Site start-up and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) support.
- Control system troubleshooting support.
Education / Experience
- 2+ years Industrial Automation / Control Systems Integration experience
- Working knowledge of process systems and continuous processes.
- AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS Electrical drafting software.
- Knowledge of NFPA 79 and UL508A, a plus.
- Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs, a plus.
- Robotics, Fanuc, a plus.
- Travel up to 25%
