Summary
BCA is an American company providing automation, robotics and conveyor systems for the food & beverage, life sciences and general industry. With in-house engineering and manufacturing, BCA develops and implements automated systems that meet or exceed our customer’s goals for improved productivity and reduced costs. The company is expanding rapidly and is adding Automation Sales Engineers in the Chicago, Dallas and Fort Worth, TX. Regions.
Responsibilities
- Identifying, and driving new business through direct sales efforts
- Spearheading regional sales visits of new logo and existing clients and partners
Support preparation of proposals and quotations through complete and accurate application data collection - Providing pre-sales and post-sales support to the customer
- Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
- Reviewing cost and sales performance
- Writing and / or contributing to reports and sales literature where needed
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and industry meetings
- Ensuring that sales targets are met
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in applicable discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the development of automated systems, robotic simulation, product/material handling equipment, packaging and conveyor systems
- Experience with:
- Robot Simulation Software
- Vision Systems
- Servo Motion Control
- Basic ACAD experience
- Proficient in MS Office products and CRM
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Results oriented and innovative
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines
- Ability to visualize a process or system from concept to development
- Strong planning, organizational and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Ability to undertake significant regional travel
